Wednesday Lenten Book Study and Soup Supper
Our new pastor, Rev. Scott Elliott will be leading a one-hour book study, Wednesday nights, during Lent at 7pm from March 1 to April 5. Before the discussion there will be a Lenten soup supper hosted by volunteers that starts at 6:30pm for those who would like to share a meal before the discussion. The book we will be discussing is The Last Week: A Day-by-Day Account of Jesus's Final Week in Jerusalem, by Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan. The soup supper and book study are both open to the public and suitable for older teens and adults. The book may be purchased (new or used) online-- free books are available upon timely request for anyone needing help with the purchase price.
