Worship At Nahant Village Church

We worship each Sunday at 10:30 am.

Worship is at the heart of who we are at Nahant Village Church. Worship begins with an extravagant welcome. Through music, Word, and prayer we take time each week to be in the presence of God. We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month, and, we baptize children and adults whenever there is a request.

Families with young children are cherished as part of our community. Our worship is intergenerational and lasts 50 minutes. We welcome children of all ages to worship with us.

You are welcome whole heartedly, just as you are. Here, you will find a faith-filled community where warmth and kindness greet everybody. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here. Come into this place just as you are. Bring your vulnerabilities, strengths, and passions. Bring whatever faith tradition you hold dear. You are welcome here!

Music is woven through worship as one of the ways we celebrate God’s presence. Our music includes classical, folk, jazz, gospel, spirituals, traditional, and original. Our extraordinary Village Ringers are also a special part of our worship services. Additional instrumental offerings include recorder, violin, flute, guitar, piano, and drum. Our volunteer choir rehearses at 9:00am each Sunday; all kinds of voices are welcome! Come sing and move with us!

Lay leaders are an important part of our worship service. If you would like to read scripture, lead the congregation in prayer, or offer a testimony, connect with a worship leader or Deacon to talk more about how you can be involved in leading worship.

Fellowship hour follows each service with refreshments and spirited conversations. Mission and outreach are an important aspect of our worship. Integrated into prayer and sermon, we follow Jesus by loving kindness, doing justice, and walking humbly with God.
